Nathan H. Mann

Mr. Mann has more than 40 years legal experience, principally in the area of civil litigation. He holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, signifying the highest rating by other lawyers. The major portion of his practice includes all areas of insurance defense. He also handles real estate, probate, corporate and commercial matters. Mr. Mann joined the firm in 1982 and is Managing Attorney.

Harriett J. Hickman

Ms. Hickman’s litigation practice is primarily dedicated to insurance defense, personal injury, property damage, construction defect, employment matters and civil rights matters in New Mexico State and Federal Courts. She has also handled appellate matters in the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Hickman has over thirty-four (34) years of litigation experience including substantial experience as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service. Ms. Hickman joined the firm in 2003 as an Associate, and she is currently a Junior Partner.

Darci A. Carroll

Ms. Carroll was admitted to practice law in New Mexico in 1999 and California in 2000 (inactive). She received her B.A. from the University of Denver in 1994, and her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1999. She advocates for her clients in both federal and state courts, and has represented clients in arbitration, mediation, and direct settlement negotiations. Ms. Carroll is a litigator who focuses her practice on insurance defense and construction-related matters.

Jordan W. Dikeman

Jordan is a civil litigation attorney practicing in a wide array of legal actions including insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and commercial and residential construction disputes. He joined our firm in January of 2020 and previously worked at the Oklahoma City law firm of Nelson, Terry, Morton, DeWitt, Paruolo & Wood.

Before attending law school, Jordan served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps with deployments to Iraq and South America. He also worked as a backcountry guide in several western wildernesses including the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, and southern Utah. Jordan is an avid supporter of veterans and environmental causes.

R. Thomas Dawe – Of Counsel

Mr. Dawe has more than 45 years of experience in commercial litigation and preparation of contracts, including the representation of individuals, lenders, borrowers, contractors, and business owners. He is experienced in all phases of commercial litigation, probate, the preparation of real estate documentation, as well as foreclosure of liens and mortgages, and tort defense. Mr. Dawe has co-authored and taught seminars on subjects related to trial practice, judgment enforcement and real estate litigation.

Mr. Dawe is a former Captain in the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corp and a Lieutenant in the United States Army Infantry.

J.E. Casados – In Memoriam

Mr. Casados practiced law for more than 50 years as an insurance defense attorney. He handled every type of insurance defense matter including insurance bad faith, personal injury, professional liability, property damage, subrogation, and products liability. He handled numerous trials and appeals during his career. Mr. Casados was a founding partner of Gallagher, Casados & Mann, P.C., retiring in 2015.
